President

Bishop Dr. Pauline Borland is a vibrant & relevant bible teacher, preacher, speaker, and dedicated Administrator. At the tender age of seven she gave her heart to the Lord. Since then Bishop remained in the Church, attending The Wesleyan Methodist Church. The Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, New York for 13 years serving as Chairperson to the young Women’s Group, Sunday School Teacher , Prayer Warrior; Hospital Ministry and Founder of God’s New Hope Healing Ministry (Prison Ministry); The Bronx Holiness Christian Church where she was ordained minister and developed her skills in the Sunday School Department , preaching , training teachers, teaching Sunday School & evangelism under the leadership of Reverend Livingston Gibbs. On February 1, 1979 Bishop Dr. Pauline Borland received her Bachelor of Arts degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, of New York City in the State of New York. Bishop Dr. Borland pursued a career in the legal profession as an advocate for the underserved communities of The five Boroughs of New York City. She earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Studies at New York Theological Seminary and earned her Doctor of Divinity from The Community Bible Institute & Seminary of Brevard County, Florida, an affiliate Of the University of America. During her studies at The New York Theological Seminary, Bishop Borland was led by God to study Social Analysis, Modern Church & Society as one of her class majors. Through this vision Bishop Borland saw the needs of the community to be addressed. The vision was to establish a multiservice center to provide needed services to area residencies. Some of these services include A Bible College sanctioned by the Theological Society. Bishop lectured Hermeneutics, Homiletics and Gospel of John at The Community Bible Institute & Seminary and the recently formed, Esther Theological Seminary.  Bishop Dr. Pauline Borland is the wife of Reverend Winston G. Borland & parents of two children , Tesfa & Monique Borland.

The Vice President

Miss Borland is a consulting professional with a breath of business experience in information technology and management consulting.  She specializes in business and system integration in her efforts to deliver total business solutions to clients. Her expertise is in the area of systems integration.  She is currently a Managing Director at Deloitte and has a wealth of knowledge in project management, business process re-engineering, change management, requirements definition, testing, training, lifecycle systems implementation and client relationship management.  She is skilled in the development and presentation of product demonstrations for C-level prospects, resulting in the capture of new accounts. In addition Ms. Borland provides subject matter  expertise during the creation and presentation of proposals to prospective clients, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Monique is a natural leader with exceptional critical reasoning and strategic thinking skills that are most valuable to Esther Theological Seminary.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing , Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Florida State University in 2002.  She later pursued a Masters in Business Administration  from Michael J. Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University in 2010.  Since receiving her Masters she has immersed herself in the world of Business by being a valuable resource in every organization that she is associated with.  She is also an active member of New Birth Missionary Baptist church in Atlanta.

Esther Theological Seminary is a Multicultural Institution with a diverse set of students originating from the USA, Ireland, the Caribbean/West Indies, and Latin America. We welcome students from the business communities as well as all Christian Denominations.

Role of The School

  • To train leaders  in ministry and to equip saints with the word of God.

  • To equip instructors with the tools necessary for for teaching the Word of God.

  • To motivate saints in the Word of God to be effective at home as parents and children as well as in the community at large.
